U17 BOYS
U17s played our last championship game V top of the table and unbeaten  Drumloman Gaels in Mullagh on Saturday. We played into a very strong wind in the first half and it took us a few minutes to settle before we got a score it was very close at half time. Second half with the wind with us we got some good scores and finished out winning the game by 2 points 1-10 too 1-8 but unfortunately the other results in the championship didn’t go in our favour so our championship is over. On behalf of the management team we would like to thank all the parents for their help over the season. To all players thanks for your commitment and great effort over the season and especially in the last game you really showed how good a team you are.  Best of luck to the players who are moving on to adult football next year and we look forward to working with the rest of the younger players and the players that are moving up from the U15s next year. Thanks to everyone again U17 management team.
U14 GIRLS
After finishing top of their group the u14 girls played in the division 2 Championship semi final at home to Shercock last Sunday.
In the opening half our girls started smartly scoring a goal in the 1st few minutes , they moved the ball quickly and produced some excellent football and at half time were 6 points up with a score of 2 – 6 to 1 – 3 in Cuchulainns favour.
In the second half Shercock had to raise their performance and to their credit they managed that but our girls held firm and in the final quarter got some long ranged scores which sealed a well deserved victory with a score of Cuchulainns 2 – 9 Shercock 1- 7.
Well done to all the girls who booked a place in the final.
The final is confirmed for Saturday 21st Sep at 5.00 p.m in Ballymachugh against Lavey.
U15 BOYS
Hard luck to our u15 boys who bowed out of the championship to Dernacrieve in the semi final playoff in the 3g. The team put in a super performance throughout but a very strong dernacrieve pulled away in the end. We would like to thank every single player for their hard work and effort throughout the year. To parents thank you all for your support and encouragement and to everyone else who helped and supported along the way we really appreciate it.

U7 BOYS
Our U7 Boys traveled to Killinkere on Saturday for a challenge game. There was great fun and sport had by the boys who enjoyed every minute of the game. Well done boys! Thanks to all the parents who traveled and Killinkere gfc for hosting us. A great experience for all who participated.
U13 BOYS
Our Div 2 team played Lavey in Cross on a sunny Saturday afternoon. With the wind and sun at our back we took advantage seizing some fabulous goals and points from numerous players and giving us a good lead at half time. However Lavey came out strong in the second half and fought back and playing with a strong wind came nail bitingly close to catching us. We held them up and finished with a one point win. This win now placing us 3rd the the championship table after 3 rounds. Onward and Upwards.
FT Cuchulainns 6-11 v Lavey 6-10.
Our Div 5 team played a tough Mullahoran team in Mullagh on Sunday. In very wet conditions we endeavored to keep a reign on the opposition and at half time we scored a last minute goal to keep us in a good position. The second half was a tough battle and Mullahoran proved too strong for us. We didn’t give up and battled to the end.
FT Cuchulainns 5-6 Mullahoran 7-15.
