Mullagh Sports Partnership;
Thank you to Paul Taite and Eamonn Carolan for their hard work on our successful Capital Sports Grant Award. Sincere thanks to Moynalty athletics club and all our local primary and secondary schools for their continued support in our various grant applications Thank you to all our local public representatives who have advised us in our effort to achieve grant aid for our exciting new development.
We were pleased to be recently awarded €38,000 in the last round of Capital Sports Grant to add to the €53,000 we were awarded in 2018. We will be in a position to draw down this funding early this year to aid the commencement of stage 2 and 3 of our development in the spring time. We are delighted to be in the position, that following the success of our Oskarz fundraiser, we will be a very healthy financial position.
Work is due to commence on the development of our new adult playing field, weather permitting, in the Spring time.
Sincere thanks to Barbara and Eamonn Carolan, Daphne Shekleton, Seamus Clarke, and Cathal Boylan for their continued dedication, expert guidance and their tireless work in seeking a successful Leader application for a Biodiversity walk around the perimeter of our new development. All going well the wider community will hopefully enjoy the fruits of your hard work by the end of 2020.
SPONSORS;
Following on from our successful Oskarz fundraiser in December. it is with deep felt appreciation that we acknowledge, on behalf of all the members of CLG Cúchulainn, the incredible generosity of all our local sponsors who continue to financially support our efforts to provide both modern facilities and sporting and cultural opportunities for the whole community. We will be erecting a promotion board on your new club grounds in March to demonstrate our appreciation signs. We encourage you and also stresses the importance of supporting our local businesses. Without this goodwill and generosity, we would not have the excellent facilities we are so lucky to enjoy in our Parish.
CULTURE NIGHT
Planning for our Annual Culture Night are at an advanced stage. We hope to enjoy an array of local talent on stage in Mullagh Hall on Friday, February 28th. There will be plenty of surprises on the night. We will be formally reporting the total amount raised at our recent Oskarz fundraiser.
