Speculation in the county has grown over the format of the 2013 senior football championship.
Next year's campaign was due for a major overhaul, but now there are rumours around that the current format will remain in place with the same number of teams competing.
The county board and the clubs are set to discuss the proposals for change at a meeting on Thursday night, but it looks increasingly likely that there will be no change.
This in spite of the fact that clubs had adopted proposals for a change last year after a specially organised committee had put forward the changes.
