U16 boys;
Last Monday we played Drumloman Gaels away. The game got off to a good start with the team’s evenly matching score for score but in the last few minutes of the first half Drumloman pulled ahead and were 7 points up at half time. Second half they got off to a good start and went another few points up but with 20 minutes to go Cuchulainns started to come back at them and had the best performance of the league so far by winning the game by 8 points 8/14— 5/15. Well done lads next game which is the last game of the season in on Friday at home at 7pm V Crosserlough.
U17 Girls;
Cuchulainns finished off the group stages of the league with a hard fought victory over Belturbet in Mullagh in blustery conditions. Both teams struggled with the conditions in the opening half with Rachael McKenna and Sophie Murray scoring the goals. A better second half saw Cuchulainns finish the group stages unbeaten thanks to superb performances from Ava Smith Ruth Smyth and Ciara Carpenter. Full time Cuchulainns 3 9 Belturbet 2 10.
