Good win for a very youthful reserves team tonight who kept up their unbeaten run in the league away to Kildallon. The hard work was done in the first half before the home team rallied with a few scores in the final quarter.

U15 Boys
Two semi-finals for our U15 teams this week. First up was the Division 2 team on Thursday evening against St Josephs in Terry Coyle Park. Two well matched teams served up a great game with the Cuchulainns boys coming out on top by seven points. 1-14, 1-07. A final against Castlerahan awaits on Friday evening at 6.30pm. Next up our Division 5 boys had a tough task against a strong Drumloman Gaels team, however the Cuchulainns boys showed great character and good play to go in at half time two points to the good. However Drumloman  took the upper hand in the second half to run out winners 3-17, 2-12, the game right in the balance till the final few minutes. A great performance from an ever improving team.

U13 Boys
Our under 13 Boys team had a tough game against Killinkere. Our boys finished with a good comeback against a strong team. But Killinkere had too much of a lead. Next week they take on Cornafaen on Tuesday at home and Denn on Saturday. Our division under 13 boys play Crosserlough on Wednesday away

U14 Girls
Our U14 girls were away to Drumlane last Wednesday. We got off to a slow start and found ourselves playing catch up from the early stages of the game. However as the half progressed we fought our way back into the game with goals from Aisling Doughty & Aoife Tynan. The girls went in at the break trailing by a goal on a scoreline of 3-04: 2-04.

The second half was similar to the first were two evenly matched teams battled hard and our girls kept fighting to the end and we were awarded a penalty when Sinead O’Reilly was fouled in the box which Aisling Doughty tucked away into the bottom right corner to level the match. There was only time left for the kick out when the referee blow the full time whistle for the game to finish 4-08 apiece. Well done girls.

Due to previous games been postponed, a busy week lays ahead for the girls who are away to Gowna on Monday and home to Kingscourt on Wednesday. Best of luck in these games girls.
