This week we got our league campaign underway with the visit of Cavan Gaels to Mullagh. It took us a while to get going but at half time we were behind 1-05 to 1-03. We started second half very well with two quick pints but then they scored two goals to pull ahead. We battled on and never dropped the heads and even missed a penalty but lost 4.09 to 1-07 . Overall good performance and we’re looking forward to our trip to Templeport next week.

Minors
Minors played bailieborough on Thursday last in Mullagh. We were missing some key players through injury and illness and suffered a heavy defeat to a well organised side. Training continues in Cross on Wednesday night at 8pm
