We were pleased to be recently awarded €38,000 in the last round of Capital Sports Grant to add to the €53,000 we were awarded in 2018. We will be in a position to draw down this funding early this year to aid the commencement of stage 2 and 3 of our development in the spring time. We are delighted to be in the position, that following the success of our Oskarz fundraiser, we will be a very healthy financial position.

Work is due to commence on the development of our new adult playing field, weather permitting, in the Spring time.

Sincere thanks to Barbara and Eamonn Carolan, Daphne Shekleton and Cathal Boylan for their continued dedication, expert guidance and their tireless work in seeking a successful Leader application for a Biodiversity walk around the perimeter of our new development. All going well the wider community will hopefully enjoy the fruits of your hard work by the end of 2020.
