Adult Team 2019
Sincere thanks to all our adult players who provided many memorable days and nights during the 2019 season. Our Junior team, filled with a mix of developing and long serving players, provided many memorable highlights throughout an exciting season. Retaining Division 1 status and despite being knocked out of the reserve championship on scoring difference, this developing team is assured further development at the highest level of reserve football in 2020.
Sincere thanks to Stephen ‘Fred’ Lynch (manager), Richard Leddy (selector), Derek Argue (player, selector and chief coordinator) for all their hard work and dedication throughout the year.
Our Adult Senior Team demonstrated great resolve and spirit during their long run in the intermediate championship in 2019. Playing an exciting brand of football, our players were unlucky not to reach a second successive Intermediate Final following the narrowest of defeats 2;15 to 2;16 V’s Laragh United. Congratulations to our players who gained the admiration of our club supporters and many neutral supporters, in the manner in which they retained their discipline despite many disturbing scenes in the closing minutes of the semi final. We look forward to next season with increased confidence.
Sincere thanks to Micheal Tynan (manager), Paul Cooney (Coach), Martin Quinn and Kilian Monaghan (Selectors), Kieran Taite (Video Analysis). Cathal Clarke (Stats), Derek Argue (Team Secretary and Chief Coordinator) and Dave Martin (Catering) for their tireless work and dedication.
